Ex-Trail Blazer Robert Covington testifies in former teammate’s rape trial

Robert Covington took the witness stand Wednesday, June 25, and described a party he hosted with other Trail Blazer players and their guests at his Lake Oswego home on the night of Oct. 2, 2021 that stretched into the early morning hours of Oct. 3, 2021. The Blazers were in training camp at that time. Former Trail Blazer Robert Covington testified that he saw a woman using her hand to Robert Covington stands by a diagram showing the layout of his Lake Oswego home on Cherry Lane. McLemore , 32, is accused of raping a woman who had passed out drunk on the couch in Covington's living room. Robert Covington described the layout of his home in Lake Oswego.
