Description

Students in Eugene, Ore., marched out of school in 2023 to support home electrification as a climate action. Eugene voters on Nov. 3, 2026 appeared to back the creation of a new climate fund that could pay, among others, for home electrification and other climate resiliency projects.

Eugene voters appeared to be leaning toward creating a climate fund financed by a tax on some of the country’s largest retailers.
