🚨 Emphasis Update 🚨 Here is the update from the seat-belt blitz. 25 ~ Traffic Stops 16 ~ Warnings 1 ~ Felony Arrest 10 ~ Citations The citations issued consisted of a variety of violations; failure to wear seat-belt, Driving While Suspended, Driving without insurance, failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to install an ignition interlock device.⚠️ Increased Patrols ⚠️ The Coos County Sheriff’s Office will be participating in a state wide seatbelt enforcement blitz starting on January 27, 2025 and ending February 9, 2025. This will include all areas within the County, with a higher focus in Charleston and Bunker Hill. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind the motoring public to use your seatbelts and ensure children are properly restrained. Not only is it the law, but it could save your life.
