President Donald Trump met Tuesday with leaders of artificial intelligence companies. The president dismissed safety concerns as “a hoax.” The executives signed a two-page accord calling for each company to develop monitoring and controls to prevent AI models from going rogue. The agreement is voluntary but “morally binding,” Trump said.
