Sway DaSafo died at 44 after a career that included a historic awards breakthrough and an early mentorship role with Ed Sheeran.

Derek Andrew Safo, the North London rapper known as Sway DaSafo, died this week at age 44, Complexx reports. A cause of death has not been disclosed.
