On Sunday at 2:46 p.m. a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid for Monday between 2 a.m. and 11 p.m. for East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades.
The weather service states, "Snow expected above 4500 feet. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches with locally higher amounts. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph."
