Description
The National Weather Service released a winter storm warning at 10:53 a.m. on Monday valid from Tuesday 5 p.m. until Thursday 5 a.m. for East Slopes of the Oregon Cascades.
"Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches above 4000 feet, heaviest along the Cascade crest. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph," can be anticipated according to the weather service. "Lighter snowfall is forecast below 4000 feet along US 97, US 26, and US20 Steady snowfall late Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday morning will turn over to snow showers Wednesday afternoon."
