Description
A driver struck a child outside the Moda Center in Portland’s Rose Quarter Sunday, a Portland Fire & Rescue spokesperson said, temporarily suspending service on a nearby MAX line.
Assistant Public Information Officer Christine Pezzulo said the driver struck the child near Northeast Multnomah Street and North Interstate Avenue. The child was breathing when firefighters arrived, Pezzulo said, and emergency responders took them to the hospital.
