Description

The Oregon Department of Transportation said vehicles not using chains contributed to spinouts and closures on Interstate 84 at Ladd Canyon in eastern Oregon.

Sections of Interstate 84 between Pendleton and Ontario were closed for about 11 hours on Thursday, and the blockage started with one commercial truck that lost traction and blocked the eastbound lanes in Ladd Canyon.
