Description
A downtown crash pinned the drivers of two cars, leaving them unable to get out without emergency responders’ help, Portland police said.
Just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday, a suspected intoxicated driver collided with a rideshare driver and their passenger near the intersection of West Burnside Street and Northwest Eighth Avenue -- eight blocks west of the Burnside Bridge -- and sent all three to local hospitals, according to the Portland Police Bureau. Emergency responders brought tools to extricate one of the drivers. All three are expected to live.
