CCSO release - Date/Time: October 20, 2025, around 10:47 PM; Case #: S202501833; Classification: Domestic Violence – Felony; Location: Wayfarer Lane, Coos Bay; Suspect(s): Zachariah Saye (19); Summary: 19-Year-Old Arrested for Felony Strangulation in Coos Bay Domestic Incident.  Sergeant Boswell and Deputy Converse of the Coos County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic dispute call on October 20, 2025, at approximately 10:47 PM at a residence on Wayfarer Lane. Upon arrival, the deputies initiated an investigation, conducting interviews that revealed 19-year-old Zachariah Saye had pushed the female victim to the ground and impeded her ability to breathe. The incident allegedly occurred in the presence of the couple's infant child.  Saye was arrested at the scene and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked on charges of Felony Domestic Strangulation and Domestic Harassment. He remains in custody pending arraignment.
