Portland police move in on protesters who threw fireworks and later, Molotov cocktails at the officers on the 100th night of protest in the city.

Investigations of Portland police supervisors who oversaw improper use of force by officers during 2020 protests in the city have been open for far too long and haven’t been as broad as they should be, a U.S. Department of Justice lawyer told a judge Tuesday.
