Chef Doug Miriello stands inside the space that will soon become Dimo's Italian Specialties, a deli, market, bar and three-night-a-week supper club next door to his Dimo's Apizza.

If Doug Miriello has learned anything since opening Dimo’s Apizza five years ago on East Burnside Street, it’s that “the people of Portland always tell me what I am.”
