The Bandon Fish Hatchery is an active state-run fish rearing and spawning facility located at 55212 Fish Hatchery Road in Bandon, Oregon. Built in 1925, it raises fall Chinook salmon, winter steelhead, and trophy-sized rainbow trout.
Visitor nformation Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Best Times to Visit:
October through November for adult Chinook salmon;
December through March for adult steelhead; year-round for the large trout show pond.
View and feed large rainbow trout in the show pond, use picnic areas, and watch fish spawning operations typically on Tuesday mornings during the fall and winter seasons.
