The Oregon State Sheriffs’ Association unanimously voted last Wednesday to permanently expel Deschutes County Sheriff Kent van der Kamp from the association’s board of directors — weeks after Oregon’s law enforcement credentialing agency found that he had violated moral fitness standards.
