🚨 Deputy Z. Smith Makes Arrest 🚨

On April 8, 2025, around 1:21 PM, Deputy Z. Smith was cruising down Libby Lane toward Charleston when he spotted a silver SUV breaking traffic rules. He pulled the vehicle over to have a chat.

The driver, who claimed he had no ID, was acting super shady and dodging questions. Turns out, he was 35-year-old William Bledsoe, who wasn’t supposed to be behind the wheel and had an active warrant! Busted! 😬 Deputy Smith arrested him for the warrant and for trying to pull a fast one by giving false info.

But wait, there’s more—during a search, Deputy Smith found suspected methamphetamine on Bledsoe. So, William was booked for the warrant, giving false info to a peace officer, and possession of a controlled substance. He was taken to Coos County Jail, then transferred to Curry County, where he’s on probation.

The suspected meth is headed to the Oregon State Crime Lab for testing. Awesome job, Deputy Smith, keeping our roads safe! 💪 Let’s give a shoutout to our deputies working hard for Coos County! #SheriffStrong #CommunityFirst
