A dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 9:36 p.m. in effect until Friday at 10 a.m. for Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
“Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog,” can be anticipated according to the weather service. “Road cams show obscure conditions near Fossil, Cabbage Hill, Pilot Rock and parts of Pendleton. Lower valleys, especially sheltered areas, could see temperatures drop below freezing tonight, making road conditions slick.”
