A dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 9:55 a.m. in effect until 11 a.m. for Jackson County.
"Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog," explains the weather service. "Fog conditions look to improve as winds develop this morning. But for the moment, clearing is not visible on satellite imagery."
