Another outstanding band concert in the books for the Coos Bay Band programs. Tonight was the first concert for our Sunset and Millicoma 6th graders. Our three state solo qualifiers performed their selections; Britney Herrera, Addison Moss, and Alan Cabudol. Next up is the district band festival on April 16 at MHS and the Spring Concert in May. Fantastic dress rehearsal for the MHS Upbeats as they prepare for the state completion this Friday. They will be performing their Traditional routine at 4:11 pm and their Pom routine at 6:02 pm. Both routines can be seen on the NFHS network. This evening was also the last performance in Pirate Palace for our seniors; Erika Akers, Hannah Thomas, Juanita Martinez, and Noah Libitsky. Any families from Fat Elk/Arago that would like to go over Lampa Mountain via Lampa Lane can meet the bus at Lampa Lane and 42S at 7:05. Route 29 North Bank will stage at Hill road on North Bank for 7:00 pick up due to storm debris and water further down North Bank. For any questions, please contact Transportation at 541-396-2723.
