The three-day trial took place in Multnomah County Circuit Court.

A 33-year-old nightclub-goer who was shot in the thigh by a stranger at the Capitol Bar in Northeast Portland last year won a $1.8 million jury verdict Wednesday after the security company the bar had hired to pat down customers unknowingly let the shooter and his gun inside.
