•••Coquille man arrested on the charge of DUII after crash on Fairview Road at milepost 11•••

On April 21st at 8:30 p.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a report of a single-vehicle crash on Fairview Road near milepost 11. Fairview Fire, Coquille Ambulance, and Sgt. Boswell from the Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash.

The driver was identified as Tony Florez (20) of Coquille. He had some minor scratches but was otherwise uninjured. During an investigation, Sgt. Boswell had Mr. Florez perform the standardized field sobriety tests and later arrested him on the charge of DUII.

Tony Florez (20) was transported to the Coos County Jail for additional testing. Mr. Florez was issued a citation for DUII and released to a sober adult.
