Description
The National Weather Service issued a flood warning at 10:42 a.m. on Thursday in effect until Monday at 10 p.m. for Coos County.
The weather service adds, "Minor flooding is forecast. The river is receding, but it's expected top rise again late tonight and reach minor flooding by Friday afternoon. Additional rainfall through the weekend will cause the river to rise again, and minor flooding persisting into Sunday afternoon. The river is expected to crest near 22.9 feet late Saturday afternoon and evening for Coquille River at Coquille."
