The Coos Bay City Council will meet on Tuesday,  September 2, 2025 – 6:00 PM, Council Chambers - 500 Central Avenue, Coos Bay.  Agenda:  1. Flag Salute; 2. Public Comments; The Public Comments period is intended for the public to share ideas and concerns; it is not intended for an interactive discussion with Council. There may be opportunities for public comments during specific agenda items that require a Public Hearing, members of the public are requested to confine their remarks to questions or issues under discussion during this time.   During ANY designated comment period, individuals shall not engage in personal attacks, shall not impugn the motives of any speaker, and shall at all times, while in session conduct themselves in an appropriate manner. No person shall make personal, impertinent, slanderous or unauthorized remarks or become boisterous while addressing the Council.  a. Public Comments; 3. Consent Calendar; a. Consideration to Accept an Oregon State Oregon Parks and Recreation Grant and Approve; Resolution 25-30 Making Appropriations; 4. Presentation:  a. Commitment to Excellence Award given to North Coos Dispatch Center by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials; b. Presentation of Appreciation of Service Plaque for City Attorney Nathan McClintock; 5. Action Items:  a. Approval of National Preparedness Month Proclamation; b. Consideration to Accept the Coos Bay Economic Development Strategic Plan; c. Consideration to Adopt Resolution 25-32 Amending the City's Fee Schedule; d. Consideration to Adopt the Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2026 Through 2028; e. Consideration to Approve the Intergovernmental Agreement with Bunker Hill Sanitary District for Wastewater Treatment Services; 6. City Manager's Report; 7. Mayor and Council Comments; 8. Adjourn.
