LAS VEGAS — With a trial date for the University of Oregon’s civil lawsuit against former running backs coach Carlos Locklyn set to be scheduled, there has been communication between Ohio State and its assistant coach about putting an end to the matter.
UO is seeking damages of $400,000 from Locklyn for breach of contract, per his buyout for leaving for Ohio State last spring, and is seeking damages for unjust enrichment as an alternative claim for relief.
