Description

Leaders of Safer Portland, the campaign behind a proposed ballot measure that would redirect clean energy funds to support police, held a press conference Monday to announce it would be submitting over 62,000 signatures to the city in support of its petition.

Two proposed Portland ballot measures have moved closer to qualifying for the November ballot after proponents Monday submitted tens of thousands more signatures than required to the city.
