Description

An environmental group has appealed the city approval for Portland General Electric to cut more than 370 trees in Forest Park to upgrade transmission lines. The project has spurred significant opposition.

The Forest Park Conservancy has filed an appeal to stop Portland General Electric from cutting down 376 trees on about 5 acres in Forest Park to upgrade existing transmission lines.
