Description

Oregon governor Tina Kotek leaves the stage after speaking to volunteers from Oregon Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action last year. The groups have been working to persuade school boards to enact policies to ban concealed carry license holders from bringing their guns onto school property.

The effort to ban people from bringing guns into Oregon public schools, including those who have licenses that allow them to carry concealed handguns, is approaching a tipping point.
