The OSAA's rankings committee is currently in discussions for how to update the way rankings are produced for sports that have playoffs.

There could be changes on the horizon for how teams are ranked in Oregon high school sports.

***Media Release*** Case #: S2026-00409 On March 19, 2026, at 8:18 p.m., a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy contacted a vehicle trespassing on timber lands off Libby Lane. One of the occupants, Tiana M. Meyer (34) of Coos Bay, had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. Ms. Meyer was transported to the Coos County Jail on the outstanding warrant, where she was booked and remains in custody. “Police action is not indicative of guilt. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.”
