A gathering of hundreds of teenagers at a Colorado shopping center escalated into disorder over the weekend, leading to reports of theft, vandalism and a large police response as authorities worked to restore order. The incident unfolded Sunday at the Hoffman Heights Shopping Center in Aurora, where police estimated that about 500 young people had gathered after learning about an event promoted on social media, KDVR reported.
