Description

It may be Summer on the calendar and plenty of days left for the “camping experience,” however, some former Marshfield athletes had a short Summer with Fall Sports practices beginning this week at most colleges and universities for football, volleyball, soccer and cross country.  We would also like to recognize athletes from NBHS who are continuing if someone knows a list, send it.  Kind of hard, however, when the principal and AD have been replaced.  Here’s the list from MHS with apologies to those we missed:  Southern Oregon University:  Dom Montiel (football) & Lucas Folau (football).  Linfield University:  Tatum Montiel (volleyball), Jonah Martin (soccer) & Jose Yanez Torres (soccer).  OIT:  Kate Miles (Track and Field).  Western Oregon University:  Ava Ainsworth (volleyball) & Jackson Herbert (Track and Field).  Oregon State University:  Bridget Gould (volleyball).  University of Oregon:  Bodie Lutes (Track and Field).  George Fox University:  Paige McDuff.  SWOCC:  Analise McCord (Golf) & Gwen Button (Basketball).  Weber State:  Daphne Scriven (Track and Field).  Shasta Community College:  Ryder Easton, Wyatt Petley, & Ashton Thornton (baseball).  Pasadena City College:  Maddux Mateski (Football).  Prep Fall Sports practices begin August 18th.
