On Thursday at 2:34 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a cold weather advisory valid from Friday 10 p.m. until Sunday 10 a.m. for Klamath Basin, Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.
"Very cold wind chills as low as 13 below expected," explains the weather service. "Winds will first become gusty at exposed locations in the higher terrain on Friday night, then will be strongest across the area during Saturday afternoon and evening."
