In a double hit, a co-founder of the club stole $100,000 from two investors, ultimately sinking the business.Despite Joshua Wallace’s prior two federal convictions, he took financial control of the club, opened a business bank account and made himself the sole signatory, according to court records.State records show the Oregon Pickleball Club was incorporated Sept. 13, 2022, and dissolved by Nov. 9, 2023.

A two-time convicted felon who co-founded the Oregon Pickleball Club with a friend in 2022 embezzled tens of thousands of dollars from two investors, leading to the club’s demise.
