Description

Federal agents lobbed tear gas and flash-bang grenades at protesters in front of the ICE building on January 31, 2026. Gray's Landing, an affordable housing complex, sits cattecorner to the ICE building.

A lawyer for nine residents of Gray’s Landing and the apartment building’s managers argued Friday that the “massive” amount of tear gas and chemicals used by federal officers outside the ICE office near their complex “shocks the conscience.”
