Description

David M. Brandon, now 46, was convicted last year in Clatsop County Courthouse on two counts each of third-degree rape and third-degree sodomy and one count of unlawful delivery of marijuana in connection with his encounters with a Jewell School student. He was sentenced to three months in jail. On April 9, his probation was revoked, and he was ordered to spend three years in prison.

A federal civil rights suit filed Monday against a public school district in Clatsop County alleges a former teacher engaged in repeated sexual abuse of a student starting when she was 14 and that the district did little to stop it.
