Description

Made in Old Town defaulted on a $7 million loan from Prosper Portland that it used to buy the Mason Ehrman Building and an adjacent structure. On Wednesday, Prosper Portland forgave the loan in exchange for possession of the buildings.

What started with a bold vision for bringing sneaker manufacturing to Old Town ended Wednesday with a 12-minute public hearing and little commentary.
