Manhole Repairs on Southwest Boulevard

City of Coos Bay release - On Friday, April 4, 2025, City staff will be repairing a storm manhole on Southwest Boulevard near the intersection of Illinois Avenue. Flaggers will be on site directing traffic and Southwest Boulevard will be reduced to one lane. Work will start after 8:30 am and end no later than 4:30 pm. Lane Closure Along Koos Bay Boulevard

City of Coos Bay release - The City of Coos Bay is in the process of upgrading the existing Waste Water Treatment Plant 1 located at 680 Ivy Street. The construction activities will require the closure of the eastbound lane along Koos Bay Boulevard between N. 7th and N. 8th Street. Travel will be reduced to one lane in the construction zone and flaggers will be on site. It is anticipated that this phase of work will last approximately three weeks to complete and will begin on Monday, April 7. Please exercise caution when traveling through the work zone.
