Horton, a gentle giant with an unwavering devotion, is determined to protect this fragile speck and the tiny inhabitants within, even as he is misunderstood, ridiculed, and betrayed by those who refuse to see what he knows to be true. His steadfast friend, Gertrude McFuzz, stands by him, her faith never wavering. In time, their friendship blossoms with love that touches the soul.
