Multnomah County officials released the surveillance footage of the moments before the Aug. 25 stabbing outside the Central Library. The screenshot shows the 44-year-old man, who was later wounded, in a bucket hat talking with the group of young people by the library.

Officials on Monday released video footage that shows the moments before a stabbing outside downtown Portland’s Central Library late last month after a local political leader raised questions about the information that had been released about the attack.
