The Central Catholic Rams are set to kick off their 2025 campaign with an interstate showdown against their California namesake, the Central Catholic Raiders of Modesto. Coming off an impressive 11-1 season that ended in the Class 6A open championship semifinals with a 33-24 loss to Lake Oswego, coach Charlie Landgraf’s squad begins a three-game road stretch in California’s Central Valley. The Rams, who dominated offensively last season averaging more than 50 points per game, defeated the Raiders 45-29 at Hillsboro Stadium. Returning quarterback Robbie Long Jr. and senior standout wide receiver Dayvion Curtis will lead the Rams’ attack against a team that has started its season 0-2. Opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET on Friday, September 5 with a live TV broadcast on NFHS Network.
