City of North Bend release - Celebrate with the City of North Bend as we open Phase Two of the Visitor Information Center development! This milestone brings us one step closer to completing the Visitor Center Master Plan.  While the official ribbon-cutting will take place next year after all components are complete, we will gather on Friday, October 9, to celebrate the completion of Phase Two. The event will feature live music by Border Patrol, food available for purchase from Coastal Slice, a viewing of the Merci Boxcar and 1937 Federal Fire Engine, and a presentation from the City of North Bend highlighting the project’s accomplishments and next steps.  The celebration begins at 4:00 p.m. with a short presentation by the City of North Bend, followed by live music at 4:30 p.m. Border Patrol will perform on the new stage until 7:30 p.m., and Coastal Slice will serve food for purchase from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Also happening on Friday, October 9, is the North Bend Main Street Sip N’ Stroll, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Guests are welcome to attend both events! Sip N’ Stroll check-in will be inside the Visitor Information Center. A suggested $10 donation includes a commemorative glass and walking map featuring participating businesses.  We are excited to celebrate with our community, recognize our funders, and thank everyone who helped make this milestone possible.  The Visitor Information Center and new development are located at 745 California Avenue.
