Underwood (18) attempted to flee from the deputy on foot, but was caught and taken into custody on the outstanding warrant. Mr. Underwood was arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked.

CCSO release - Date/Time: March 20, 2026 / 2:52 p.m.; Case #: S2026-00416; Classification: Crash / DWS Felony; Location: Lampa Lane Mile Post 11; Suspect(s): Larry Nicholson (59); Summary: On Friday, March 20, 2026, at 2:52 p.m., a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report of a crash on Lampa Lane near milepost 11. Upon the Deputy’s arrival, Mast Brothers Towing had already been called, and they were in the process of removing the vehicle, which had hit a tree head-on. The driver, Larry Nicholson (59), had an Oregon driving status of Suspended Felony. As a result of the investigation, Larry Nicholson (59) was arrested on the charge of Driving While Suspended Felon and transported to the Coos County Jail, where he was booked and released.
