CHM release - For Immediate Release - The Coos History Museum will host a three-course fundraiser dinner in celebration of Mardis Gras on February 17th, 2026. The event will be held at Restaurant O and proceeds will benefit the Coos County Historical Society.  Attendees will be greeted with a complimentary glass of prosecco and canapes during a cocktail hour. The seated three course dinner will include lobster and shrimp bisque, filet mignon w/ a whiskey mustard potato puree, bacon wrapped green beans, and a pinot noir jus, and a golden caribe chocolate mousse bar with raspberries and mango sorbet. A no-host bar, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, and Adopt an Artifact will be held, as well as other activities.  This fundraiser will be hosted in-person at Restaurant O (260 S. Broadway St., Coos Bay), with an admission price of $125.   Doors open at 5:30 and the dinner concludes at 8:30. Seating is limited, pre-registration is required.
