Coos Bay Public Library, 525 Anderson Ave., Coos Bay, OR - Tea Tasting, Thursday, September 4 in the Myrtlewood Room, 12:00pm – 2:00pm. Sip, savor, and explore the world of tea! Join us at the library from 12:00pm – 2:00pm for our Monthly Tea Tasting, featuring selections from Teas, Tinctures, and Tonics. Each month, enjoy samples of one caffeinated and one non-caffeinated tea while learning about their unique flavors and origins. Whether you're a tea enthusiast or simply curious, this event is the perfect way to discover your new favorite blend. Free and open to all – bring a friend and share the experience! Family Resource Fair, Thursday, September 4 in the Myrtlewood Room, 4:00pm – 6:00pm. Geared towards parents or caregivers of young people 0-18. Connect with organizations that offer services for young people and families, activities for young people and educational support. Learn what our community has to offer! Participating organizations include: CASA, Care Connections CCR&R, 4-H, OSU Extension, STEAM Pathways, Oregon Department of Human Services, Starfish Youth Therapy Center, Every Child Coos, Coos Hispanic Allies, ARK Project, South Slough Estuary Reserve, South Coast Head Start, Waterfall Clinic, Safe Families for Children, South Coast Early Learning Hub, South Coast Food Share, South Coast Educational Services District, Boys and Girls Club of Southwestern Oregon, Pathways to Positive Parenting. Family Resource Fair at CBPL
CBPL release - Connect with local organizations that offer services, after-school care, preschool opportunities, and enrichment activities for children and families Thursday, September 4 from 4:00-6:00pm at a Family Resource Fair at the Coos Bay Public Library. The event will feature a wide range of local organizations that work with families and children 0-18, The purpose of the fair is to give parents and caregivers an opportunity to see what is available in the community for young people. Participating organizations include 4-H, Starfish Youth Therapy Center, SWOCC’s STEAM Pathway, CASA, Care Connections CCR&R, the Oregon Department of Human Services, Coos Hispanic Allies and Every Child Coos. More organizations are being added daily; for a full list of participating organizations, visit the Coos Bay Public Library’s website at www.coosbaylibrary.org.
