Calling all crafty teens and adults! Have an appetite to get creative? Pick up a free monthly Craft Takeout kit in the library on the 3rd Saturday of each month. All supplies needed to create the monthly project will be included in each Craft Takeout kit. Limit one Craft Takeout kit per person. Kits are available for pickup in the library while supplies last. Saturday STEAM: Catch the Sea Breeze, Saturday, September 19 in the Myrtlewood Room, 2:30pm – 3:30pm. Dive into some creative fun at Saturday STEAM during the Fun Festival! Join us on Saturday, September 19, from 2:30–3:30 p.m. to create an ocean-themed wind catcher that's uniquely yours. Choose from a variety of colorful ocean-themed wind catcher craft kits (one per participant, while supplies last), then let your imagination lead the way. Mix colors, add your own creative touch, and discover your inner artist as you make a one-of-a-kind creation to take home. This relaxed, family-friendly, drop-in program is perfect for kids and families. Stop by anytime during the hour, create at your own pace, and enjoy an hour of hands-on fun and creativity together! Age Bracket: Kids, Families. Ongoing Programs: Hispanic Heritage Month Reading Challenge, All Ages, September 15-October 15. Read or listen to a book by a Hispanic author to be entered to win a $50 gift card to a local Mexican food restaurant.
