Fiber artists of all skill levels are welcome and registration is not required.  Age Tag: Adults.  Back Yard Pollinator Program with Coos Watershed.  Friday, August 7 in the Myrtlewood Room, 5:00pm - 6:00pm.  Join your local watershed association for a special presentation about their new Back Yard Pollinator Program!  What kinds of native pollinators do we have in our watershed?  What are four things you can do for them TODAY?  Can you ace our beneficial insect trivia, or can we stump you?  What is a watershed, and how can you get involved?  We will answer all these questions and more!  Attend the presentation and enter our raffle to receive free native pollinator plants for your yard this fall.  Age Bracket: Everyone. Book Brunch, Saturday, August 8 in the Myrtlewood Room, 11:00am - 12:00pm.  Book Brunch is a book club devoted to reading, unrestricted by genre, plus, of course, brunch! Each month we will read a book, then meet the second Saturday of the next month for waffles, orange juice, coffee etc., and a chat. This is a no pressure club, if you didn’t finish, that’s ok, just know there will be spoilers. With games for elementary-aged kids, tweens, and families, there's something for everyone to enjoy.  Discover a new favorite game, solve challenges, and have fun together! This relaxed, family-friendly drop-in program lets you stop by anytime and play at your own pace.  Saturday STEAM is a new weekly program for kids and families! STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, but mostly it means having fun while making, building, creating, and exploring together.  Each week features a different hands-on activity. You might try a science experiment, make a craft, solve puzzles, tackle building challenges, build with LEGO® bricks, or play games that get you thinking and creating.  Please note: Saturday STEAM will not be offered on Saturdays when the library has other children's or family programs scheduled.
