Playtime at CBPL

CBPL release - The Coos Bay Public Library is hosting a weekly playtime Fridays, next one, Nov. 22nd, from 10-11am from November 8 through the end of 2024 for parents or caregivers and children under the age of 5. The informal group will meet in the Children and Families Section of the Library and will give parents and caregivers and young children to socialize and play. The program is part of the Coos Bay Public Library’s ongoing programming for young people and families. Yayoi Kusama Pop-Art Painting (Ages 12-18)

Join us for Yayoi Kusama Pop-Art Painting at the Coos Bay Public Library on Friday, November 22nd from 2:00PM-5:00PM. Youth ages 12-18 are invited to create paintings in the style of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. Participants will focus on Kusama’s famous pop-art dot work that has inspired the work of many other famous artists. After a short history on Yayoi Kusama and her work, participants will be provided guidance and supplies to create their own pop-art style painting.
