At 6:55 a.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid from 8 a.m. until Monday 11 a.m. for North Oregon Cascades, Cascades of Marion and Linn counties and Cascades of Lane County.
“Wet snow above 4000 ft. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 7 inches,” can be expected according to the weather service. “For elevations above 5000 ft, there is an 80% chance that snow accumulations will end up between of 5 to 17 inches. There is a 10-30% chance that snow accumulations of 15 inches or more.”
