Description

A judge has suppressed evidence against a suspected drug supplier from Mexico, ruling that Multnomah County sheriff’s detectives lacked probable cause to arrest the Latino man because the arrest was based largely on his appearance and circumstantial evidence, including that he wore “cleaner, nicer clothes” and drove a “newer car” than the possible drug users seen coming and going from a suspected drug dealer’s Portland home.
