Description

Camas-based nLight makes powerful lasers that can shoot down drones. The government wants it to develop lasers for shooting down cruise missiles, too.

Shares in Camas-based laser manufacturer nLight jumped 28% Thursday after the company won a federal contract worth $44 million initially, and up to $627 million in years to come.
