There are so many sunsets left for sweepstakes gaming in California. If bill AB 831 passes, it could have a ripple effect on gambling on the West Coast.

California has officially put sweepstakes casinos on notice. On Sept. 8, the state Senate voted unanimously to advance Bill AB 831, a proposal that would outlaw sweeps gaming entirely. California doesn’t allow for legal online casinos, which has made it a hot bed for sweepstakes casino gaming.
